Michael Caminer is the director and CEO of the company and as an engineer developed and designed the Smartpack system in 1985.This family owned company operates 3 showrooms in Sydney and has a number of distributors around Australia from Perth to Mackay.
The product is fully manufactured in Australia. The company employs 25 full time people and is a fully quality assured manufacturing operation. (ISO 9000-2001 Quality Assurance). flatpack market in 1985 was at its infancy and the Smartpack system with associated computerised manufacturing was a pioneering development. Smartpack has developed into a sophisticated system with an downloadable design program ("DYOS -Design Your Own Smartpack") for kitchens and Home Offices, and has now added the "Smartpack Creativ" brand of custom made kitchens using nesting based manufacturing and delivery of assembled carcasses for full installation projects.
